heading to bc for a few days to visit my mom and dad and the cabin i spent all of my summers at as a kid. i likely won’t have any email or voicemail access while i’m gone, so i’ll be catching up on all messages when i’m back in the office after alisha and josh’s wedding on buffalo lake next weekend!

and because what’s a blog post without any pictures, here are a few more teasers from my sessions last week!

..
yes, they are STANDING here… the grass on the edge of danielle and jay’s property is SO tall!
..
i just loved the cool textures and colours on this building i found downtown with anke and rob!
..

catch up with you all when i get back ๐Ÿ™‚

i met with anke and rob on the weekend to shoot their engagement session. we’d planned our sunset session over a month ago, and though i’m sure the sun *was* setting during our shoot, we certainly didn’t see any of it through the clouds… we had a great time anyways though, and checked out a bunch of new locations around town. once again, i had a cool couple who were up for anything, and i think a few of the teasers below will prove that ๐Ÿ™‚

enjoy.

.....
and this one is my fave from the session, i was so excited when we stumbled upon this ‘no standing’ sign… after having them stand on it for a while, what else to do but lay down on it? hot.

i headed out to sylvan lake this week to do an engagement session for my sister-in-law danielle and her fiance jay. i had a blast shooting them in their neighbours hay field and all over danielle and jay’s acreage… jay pretended not to know that getting pictures taken is FUN, and that sitting on freshly cut hay, stepping on cacti, and getting eaten alive by mosquitoes come with the territory when shooting on a farm, but danielle and i did what we could to convince him that he was really having a great time. haha.

hope the two of you enjoy the teasers, and mark and i are crossing our fingers that we will be out to your place again before the summer ends… we need to get out on the lake!!

.....

be prepared to see more of my beautiful big sis on the blog pretty soon, as she and jay are going to be needing pictures of another big life event within the next few months…
