i met up with chelsey and ryan downtown on friday evening and had an awesome time shooting with them! they were such naturals in front of the camera and their chemistry was just amazing. the two of them love black and white images, and i think black and white happens to loves them back, so here are some of my favourite b&ws from their session!

this last image is one of my favourites from chelsey and ryan’s session. the idea for this pose was all their’s and i love it!

sometimes a session is so hot that it deserves two posts… this is one of those. part two coming soon.

i first met eva at the end of june, as one of the bridemaids in christie and jason’s wedding out in provost, and i just loved her bubbly personality. she and fedya are getting married in just a couple of weeks and although they already had a photographer booked for their wedding when we met, eva decided it might be fun to get some engagement photos done. we spent a couple of hours shooting downtown one evening last week, checked out a bunch of cool new spots and had a great time! hope your wedding is perfect guys, and let me know how the "secret" honeymoon goes!

i spent the afternoon hanging around the provincial museum with the weidlich family on sunday, and oh my gosh, was it ever fun! these guys were up for anything and everything i suggested, and even had a couple cool ideas of their own. this was my first experience shooting a family with grown kids, and i could not have asked for a better group of people!! fun fun fun!

travelled out to buffalo lake for alisha and josh’s wedding on the lake on saturday, and despite EVERY weather station forecasting rain, we got through the late afternoon ceremony and all of the pictures without so much as a drop! the weather was actually perfect for pictures, overcast yet bright, and a refreshing change from july’s 30-plus degree weekends! alisha was just stunning in her awesome dress, josh was looking pretty darn good himself, and if you happened to see my post about their engagement session in may, you’ll know how excited i was for this wedding. well, alisha and josh and their bridal party definitely did not disappoint, and it was SO much fun hanging out with them all day.

details… oh, how i love the details…
...
alisha really integrated the green colour scheme into all parts of their day, i just love how the green and black sand look together during their sand ceremony!
..
and few teasers from the photosession!

congratulations and all the best guys, thanks for having us out to capture your day!
