so many things to write about, so little time to do so! my trip to the states was nothing short of fabulous — i learned a ton and met so many new friends, many of whom i am sure i will be in contact with for years to come. i arrived home late wednesday evening and have spent the past few days catching up on sleep, returning emails and phone calls, and trying to tie up any loose ends before i leave town again for a wedding on the east coast this coming weekend. thanks to everybody so much for your patience while i get caught up; i have a few last emails to reply to tomorrow and will be shipping out a number of print and album orders as well! then it’s laundry and packing time in order to be ready to fly out again bright and early tuesday morning.
if i am graced with any free time over the coming weeks, i will add some more images from my adventures in texas and california, but for now, i just have to share one last session from while i was in florida. i met rochelle haisley last summer when i visited the sunshine state for the first time. she is an incredible talent and just a beautiful person inside and out, so when she emailed me months ago to say she’d love a session with her husband next time i was down, i jumped at the opportunity. it’s always a little bit intimidating to work with another photographer, but rochelle and richard are just so laid back that i really had nothing to worry about. thank you both for an awesome session, for going along with whatever ideas sprang into my mind, and for letting me hang out at your house for a few days! xox.
